The ski house emerges from the tradition of log ski lodges with a wooden box exterior and cozy family interior to counter the cold and snow.

The building has a compact footprint with three levels. Wood is embraced for warmth as lattices and screens of dappled light and solid surfaces of enclosure.

The timber cube is carved with terraces and openings which merge the interior with the landscape.
